It’s a Carnaval, a celebration of Peruvian culture at Pastuso.

 Throughout the month of July Pastuso is celebrating Peruvian Independence day, with a selection of specially curated events by Peruvian Chef Alejandro Saravia, that promise to take you through a fun and delicious journey.

Pastuso is set to launch exclusive Pisco Master Classes for an intimate and fun experience, warm up your winter and join us for an exclusive Pisco master class.

Learn how to make our acclaimed Pisco sour and taste the difference between the most exclusive Peruvian Piscos available in the market.

Our resident Pisco experts will share the history of the 400-year-old spirit of Peru.

Master classes include three drinks and Peruvian snacks.

 Ceviche is without a doubt the most ubiquitous food export to come out of Peru and while this dish is surprisingly simple to prepare, each part of the process must be executed meticulously to achieve the perfect Ceviche.

Pastuso’s Alejandro Saravia has teamed up with small-scale fishermen from Lakes Entrance to ensure that he can offer fresh and sustainably sourced ceviche to his customers seven days a week.

This masterclass is an opportunity to learn exactly how Saravia selects his seafood for ceviche (paying particularly close attention to the seasons) as well as how to prepare and serve this classic dish.

Following the masterclass guests will be treated to a 4-course Peruvian meal and Peru’s national cocktail of course, Pisco Sours.

 Chef Alejandro Savaria and his award-winning kitchen team are serving up a modern Peruvian feast, showcasing the diversity of Peruvian cuisine, inspired by the art and culture of the coast, the Andean highlands and the Amazon jungle.

It’s a Peruvian Carnaval down on AC/DC lane, live Peruvian dances will set the mood for this unique celebration of Peruvian culture through flavours.
